The most stylish new nightspot in town—Copper opened in March of 2013—but there’s plenty of familiarity here, too. Owners Jay and Jon have been running bars downtown for years, and their staffing call attracted some of town’s most popular bartenders and servers. It’s a full-service bar with an emphasis on fine whiskey, but Jon’s big-city chops and foodie background have helped create an enticing menu. Home-ground burgers, a delectable grouper sandwich, an original offering of appetizers, higher-end fare—Copper’s quickly ascended as one of the chiefs of the Main Street tribe.
If you're looking for... a complete change of pace as far as nightlife, half a block east is The Crystal Bar, one of the last remaining strongholds of Bozeman's cow-town bar scene.
Prices: Lots of appetizers for under $10, burgers are $10 and up, and you can get a Montana-raised steak for under $30.
