A few words about the atmosphere: an antique driftboat suspended upside-down from the ceiling, pine log chairs and tables, the original location for what became a popular statewide pizza chain, and numerous unique pizzas like the Stampede and the Thai Pie. Oh, and don’t let me forget the lodgepoles (fried cheese sticks), cheese bread, and thoughtfully prepared salad offerings that emphasize local, small-scale producers. An anchor business on Main Street since 1993, MacKenzie River is the longtime, hometown favorite right in the heart of downtown.
If you're looking for... another great local option for pizza, try Tarantino's Pizzeria, with locations at Rouse and Main downtown, or on North 7th, and we hear there's a new location in Belgrade, too.
Prices: Pretty much what you'd expect for an decent pizza joint.
